1. I grew up in California, and sometimes miss that soft green grass
2. I have 3 sweet daughters. They are my greatest source of joy.
3. And pain.
4. And prayers.
5. Katelynn and I lived solo for 2 years.
6. I have some great memories of those years.
7. Like dancing to the Ally McBeal soundtrack before bed
8. Camryn is more precious than I can ever put into words.
9. Alyssa is the most determined, dedicated and hardworking child ever.
10. Jeremy has raised Alyssa on his own since she was 2.
11. When I met him, he cooked dinner at home and had a clean kitchen
12. Which made me weak in the knees for that man.
13. (since then he has forgotten how to use the dishwasher. Weird….)
14. We planned our own wedding and assembled every invitation, program and detail ourselves.
15. It was a bonding experience for our entire family.
16. I spend a lot of time trying to better myself and my family
17. which irritates them to no end.
18. I’m turned off by stagnant people
19. Rude people
20. Negative people
21. And loud eaters
22. I am very hard on people
23. but not as hard as I am on myself.
24. I’d like to change that (see 15)
25. I love Jesus and try to do my best not to disappoint Him on a daily basis, but still do
26. I will never understand how He can love such an unworthy girl
27. but when I think about His love for my kids or my husband, it makes me grateful
28. And helps me accept His love for me too.
29. I cry in church way too often for my own taste
30. Speaking of taste, my favorite foods are blueberries, peanut butter, crème brule and steak.
31. I’m certain I’ve never turned down a dessert
32. I generally read the dessert menu before the dinner menu
33. So I know what meal will best go with my dessert
34. I often change conversations mid- sentence
35. This leaves the other person confused, wondering what happened.
36. Jeremy pretends to hate our dog, Jack.
37. but I catch them cuddling often.
38. So I don’t buy it.
39. I loved being pregnant.
40. But I’m done having kids
41. Which sometimes makes me sad
42. When I first laid eyes on Jeremy, he was in flip flops, reading a bible.
43. I was smitten.
44. I was voted “biggest flirt” in high school
45. which is weird, because I’ve been really conservative since the day I was born.
46. Except when it comes to boys with a nice smile or blonde hair or tan arms.
47. Which is why Jeremy is my dream boy.
48. I live too far away from my siblings.
49. I pray for my kids every day.
50. Also for Brennan.

52. I often stare at my children in amazement, not believing they are mine
53. I haven’t done anything good enough in life yet, to have deserved such blessings
54. I expected that my kids would be hellions.
55. Because I was always told I was. (I wasn’t)
56. I’ve never had a job or a boss I didn’t like.
57. I believe in showing respect to your children
58. I believe in showing compassion to your kids feelings and opinions
59. Our kids adore their grandparents
60. Which makes me happy
61. Because I was not close to my grandparents
62. I love lists of all kinds (grocery, to-do, guest, honey-do, wish, gift)

64. I used to clean when I was mad
65. I recognize that this is not a good swap.

67. Used to have a clean house, and now he’s broke.
68. Jeremy and I have a favorite neighborhood diner

70. When our favorite waitress left for another restaurant, we followed her
71. and when she saw us, she cried.
72. We generally are not stalkers.
73. But hey, she draws happy faces on our kids cups.
74. I hope to be friends with my kids when they get older.
75. I have a lot of respect for families that like to spend time together.
76. My husband loves to golf and play poker

84. I think political and religious beliefs are very personal
85. and come from years of very personal experiences
86. I don’t want anybody to criticize my personal beliefs, so I don’t criticize theirs
87. I know what I know and I believe what I believe.
88. Much like I feel like my kids are prettier and sweeter than everybody else’s.
89. It’s just what I believe and I don’t care to debate it.

93. One day Jeremy will take us on another cruise.

95. I love when Jeremy and I get out of our routine, and do something different
